Crawley Branch of the Ramblers is a caring group. We like to walk for pleasure and the enjoyment of other peoples company, and for the exercise. We are of mixed ages, some young, some older and some very old! Our walks are researched and walked in advance to make sure they are suitable for all, checking for hazards in case there are problems for those who are less able than others. There are, of course, rules and regulations. These are prescribed by the Ramblers and are there for our safety and guidance. Our Team Leaders are all experienced walkers and most have been doing the job for many years and know their walks very well. We are always on the lookout for new leaders, who are members of the Ramblers.
We have an interesting programme of walks arranged which you can see on our List Walks Page which will take us right up to the end of March 2012, after which a new one will be posted on this web site.
You have no need to feel you would be amongst strangers, you will be made more than welcome and all will be explained as you go along so why not come along and walk with us? If you would like more information about our group ring our Chairman on 01293 407244, who will be delighted to answer all your questions and make you most welcomed.
